Our mission is to empower autism families in Sanpete County, Utah, by fostering a supportive community and providing vital resources.We are dedicated to creating inclusive opportunities that enrich the lives of individuals on the autism spectrum and their loved ones.
Our Initiatives
Our intent outlines a program designed to foster resilience and skill development within five to ten autism families through engaging activities.The core components include a "Families Dance Party" and a two-day day camp pilot program.These initiatives aim to provide a supportive and interactive environment where families can connect, learn, and grow together, addressing both social-emotional well-being and practical skill acquisition.1. The "Families Dance Party" serves as the first initiative, promoting social interaction and joy in a low-pressure setting. This event will encourage communication, teamwork, and emotional expression through music and movement, contributing to enhanced family cohesion and a sense of community.Music provided for by Sound Squatch and the following performers.

2. The second initiative is a two-day day camp, offering structured learning opportunities for both parents and children. The camp curriculum will focus on developing soft skills like communication, emotional regulation, and problem-solving, alongside hard skills such as basic design, financial literacy, and practical life skills tailored to the families' needs.Through these combined efforts, the program seeks to equip autism families with tools to navigate challenges, build stronger bonds, and increase their overall resilience.The aim is to empower families with practical knowledge and interpersonal abilities, fostering a greater sense of confidence and independence for every member.
